If you would like to have a special ceremony to mark the birth and naming of your child and wish to have it outside of any particular religious rite, then I will plan a suitable ceremony with you. It may be formal or informal, although most people prefer the emphasis to be on informality. You may choose the venue, the time of day (or night) and the tone of the ceremony. It is always good to have something you will look back on with pride and which you may like to record on camera or video or DVD so that you can present it to the child as he/she grows into older childhood. |
